ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of squatting labor in the second stage of labor on full-term pregnancy primiparas.Methods100 primiparas received vaginal delivery of single cephalic in our hospital from July 2015 to December 2016 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group.Primiparas in the obsevation group were given squatting labor in the second stage, while primiparas in the control group were given semi supine delivery in the second stage. The time of the second stage and the speed of fetal head descends were compared two groups.ResultsThe time of the second stage of primiparas in the observation group [(37.9±8.5)min]were shorter than that in the control group [(73.5±10.6)min],the speed of fetal head descends in the observation group[(3.7±1.1)cm/min]were faster than that in the control group[(2.4± 0.6)cm/min],the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionFor the full-term pregnancy primiparas and in the second stage of labor, the squatting labor can shorten the time of the second stage of labor, and can improve the speed of fetal head descends,it has high clinical value, can be applied in clinic.
