ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of Megestrol Acetate in the treatment of endometrial carcinoma.MethodsFrom July 2016 to July 2017,80 patients with endometrial cancer in our hospital were treated.According to their personal will, they were grouped.Among them,39 patients were treated with routine therapy, and the rest 41 patients with endometrial carcinoma treated with Megestrol Acetate on the basis of the control group for intensification.Patients treated by routine therapy was classified into control group, and by intensified treatment was categorized into observation group. The therapeutic effect and improvement of quality of life between the two groups were compared.ResultsAfter treatment, patients with endometrial cancer in the two groups occurred with gastrointestinal reactions to some extent. The incidence of gastrointestinal reaction in the observation group was 9.76%,significantly lower than that in the control group accounting for 35.90%with a statistical difference(P<0.05).The recurrence rate was 7.32%in the observation group and 30.77%in the control group, which was displayed statistical significance after comparison (P<0.05).The scores of quality of life in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionApplication of Megestrol Acetatein the treatment of endometrial cancer obtains a definite clinical value. It not only reduces the patient′s gastrointestinal reaction and recurrence rate, but also markedly improve the quality of life in endometrial cancer patients, which plays a vital role in clinical practice and is worthy of further study and exploration.
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation nursing on activities of daily living(ADL)in children with cerebral palsy(CP).MethodsA total of 73 with CP were recruited in our hospital from January 2013 to December. The subjects were then non-randomly allocated to a control group(n=28)who was subjected to an outpatient rehabilitation training and an intervention group(n=45)who receivedinpatient treatment. The control group was received a conventional rehabilitation training for 12 weeks, while the intervention group was received a conventional rehabilitation training as well as a comprehensive rehabilitation nursing care, which included diet, psychological, concomitant symptoms nursing and activities of daily living training. The scores of ADL were calculated and compared pre-treament and post-treatment in the two groups.ResultsThere was no difference in the scores of ADL between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).Compared to baseline, the scores of ADL for children with CP were significantly improved in both groups after treatment(P<0.01).But the scores after treatment in the intervention group were significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusions Rehabilitation nursing intervention may be effective in improving ability of self-care and quality of life for children suffering from CP.
