| Impact assessment of contraceptive counseling and education after abortion on women′s contraceptive behavior |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the application effect of contraceptive counseling and education service adding in the service of patients after abortion,and to discuss the clinical application value.MethodsFrom March 2016 to February 2017,500 abortion patients treated in our hospital were enrolled as research object.According to the odd/even number,they were evenly divided into the control group and the experimental group,250 cases in each group.In the control group,conventional therapy was used,while in the experimental group,contraceptive counseling and education on the basis of the conventional treatment was added.The repeated abortion rate after therapy scores of self-rating depression scale SDS and self-rating anxiety scale was compared.ResultsIn the experimental group,the rate of repeated abortion was 0.80%,which was significantly lower than 8.40%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The and SAS in the experimental group were much lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionContraceptive counseling and education for patients after abortion is helpful to improve the psychological quality,appease the negative emotions,and increase service satisfaction.Meanwhile,it can improve patient′s contraceptive awareness and decrease the repeated abortion rate,and play great role in clinic,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
