Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical application value of urinary catheter bundle nursing.Methods A total of 118 patients who received indwelling catheterization in Yingtan People′s Hospital,Jiangxi Province from May 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the subjects of this study.According to the order of admission,the patients were divided into two groups：the reference group (59 cases,routine nursing and sensory control monitoring) and research group (59 cases,cluster nursing and sensory control monitoring).The infection rate,catheter retention time and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results The total incidence of infection in the research group was 5.08%,which was lower than that in the reference group (22.03%),the indwelling time of catheter in research group was shorter than that in reference group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Before nursing,there was no significant difference in the quality of life score between the two groups (P＞0.05).After nursing,the quality of life scores such as daily activities,self-care ability and mental state of patients in the research group were higher than those in the reference group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing measures based on the catheter cluster have significant advantages in clinical application,can significantly reduce the clinical infection rate,shorten the catheter retention time,and improve the quality of life of patients,with a certain clinical application value.
