Objective To investigate the influence of continuous nursing based on WeChat platform in patients with peptic ulcer (PU).Methods A total of 200 patients with PU who were admitted to Yingkou Central Hospital,Liaoning Province from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected.All the patients were divided into two groups according to random number table method,100 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group underwent continuous nursing based on WeChat platform.The compliance behavior after discharge for 3 months,quality of life (Nottingham health profile [NHP]) before intervention and after intervention for 3 months were compared between the two groups,and the recurrence was observed.Results The total compliance rate of the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than that of the control group (88.00%),with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the score of NHP between the two groups before intervention (P＞0.05).The scores of NHP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after intervention,with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group was 1%,which was lower than 10% of the control group,with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion The continuous nursing based on WeChat platform can enhance the compliance behavior of patients with PU,improve the quality of life and reduce the recurrence rate.
