Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effects of application of Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with Omeprazole in the treatment of peptic ulcer (PU) with disharmony of liver and spleen.Methods A total of 74 cases of PU patients with liver and spleen discordant type who were treated in Outpatients Department of Traditional Internal Medicine of Dongguan Qishi Hospital from January 2018 to November 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the study group according to the coin flip method,with 37 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Omeprazole,and the study group was treated with Banxia Xiexin Decoction on the basis of the control group.The total clinical effective rate,symptom score,inflammatory factor level and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The syndrome integrals of gastric cavity pain,belching,acid reflux and interleukin-6 (IL-6),interleukin-8 (IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) levels were lower than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Application of Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with Omeprazole has clinical effect in the treatment of PU with disharmony of liver and spleen,which can improve the patients′ clinical symptoms and inflammations.
