Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of one-time root canal in the treatment of cracked teeth with pulpal lesions.Methods A total of 128 patients with cracked teeth and pulp lesions who admitted to Fuyong People′s Hospital of Bao′an District in Shenzhen from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as research objects and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to coin tossing method,with 64 cases in each group.The treatment group used one-time root canal treatment,and the control group used traditional dental treatment.The efficacy,symptom score,quality of life score and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in the symptom score and quality of life score between the two groups (P>0.05).After treatment,the symptom scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,the symptom score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,the quality of life score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The satisfaction score of the treatment group ([89.22±15.93]points) was higher than that of the control group ([55.34±10.19]points),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The one-time root canal treatment of cracked teeth with pulpal lesions has a significant therapeutic effect,which can effectively relieve patients′ symptoms,reduce pain,improve patients′ satisfaction and quality of life,and can be clinically promoted and applied.
