Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Maslow′s hierarchy of needs in postoperative nursing of breast cancer patients.Methods A total of 40 breast cancer patients who were treated in Huizhou Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center,Guangdong Province from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method,20 cases in each group.In the control group,conventional nursing was used,and in the study group,Maslow′s hierarchy of needs nursing was adopted.The range of motion(ROM),the self-rating depression scale(SDS)score,the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)score and the quality of life score of the two groups were compared.Results The ROM qualified rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in SDS,SAS,or quality of life score between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).The SDS and SAS scores of the two groups after interventions were lower than those before interventions,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The SDS and SAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The quality of life in the study group was higher than that of the control group,with statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Maslow′s hierarchy of needs in postoperative nursing of breast cancer patients can improve their mental state,promote the recovery of the limb function,and improve the quality of life.
