Abstract:Objective To discuss the effect of microsurgery in the treatment of cerebral arteriovenous malformation(AVM) hemorrhage. Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with cerebral AVM hemorrhage who were admitted to the hospital from October 2013 to October 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into observation group(n=40) and control group (n=40) according to different treatment methods. The observation group was given microsurgery, while control group was treated by endovascular embolization. The clearance of vascular mass, incidence of postoperative complications and prognosis were compared between the two groups. Results The cure rate of observation group was higher than that of control group (97.50% vs.75.00%) (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of complications between the two groups (P>0.05).The good prognosis rate of observation group was higher than that of control group (92.50% vs.72.50%) (P<0.05).Conclusion Microsurgery is a safe and effective method for treatment of cerebral AVM hemorrhage. The appropriate microsurgery method should be selected according to the condition clinically.
