Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of peripheral venous indwelling needle combined with predictive nursing in neurological intravenous infusion, and to provide guidance for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Methods The clinical data of 500 patients with intravenous infusion in neurology department of our hospital from July 2017 to July 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into control group (250 cases) and observation group (250 cases) according to different nursing methods. The patients in the control group were given peripheral venous indwelling needle, and the patients in the observation group were given peripheral venous indwelling needle combined with predictive nursing. The indwelling time of intravenous indwelling needle, the total incidence rate of adverse reactions and total satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The indwelling time of patients in the observation group was longer than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence rate of complications in the observation group (13.20%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (34.80%),and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=31.9737,P=0.0000).The total satisfaction of patients in the observation group (92.00%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (76.80%),and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=21.9346,P=0.0000).Conclusion Peripheral venous indwelling needle combined with predictive nursing has a good effect in the application of neurological infusion. It can significantly prolong the indwelling time, reduce the incidence rate of adverse reactions, significantly improve satisfaction of patients, and is worthy of wide application.
