Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive limb salvage treatment in diabetic foot patients. Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetic foot treated in our hospital from July 23,2017 to July 23,2018 were selected as subjects. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the database, with 50 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with comprehensive limb salvage, and the control group was treated with basic therapy. The limb salvage rate, complication rate, knee amputation, toe rate, total effective rate of treatment, wound healing time, granulation tissue growth time, wound reduction area, visual analogue scale (VAS) score and ulcer area were compared between the two groups. Results The limb salvage rate and total effective rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The complication rate and VAS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The area of ulcer in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The time of wound healing and granulation tissue growth in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of comprehensive limb salvage treatment in diabetic foot patients is significant, which can improve the limb salvage rate and shorten the wound healing time.
