Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Liangyan moxibustion in the prevention and treatment of myopia. Methods A total of 60 patients (120 eyes) with myopia who were treated in Luanzhou City People′s Hospital from April to October in 2018 were selected as the subjects of study. They were divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method, 30 cases (60 eyes) in each group. The control group was treated with acupuncture combined with rotary exercise, while the observation group was treated with Liangyan moxibustion on the basis of the control group. The visual acuity and diopter before and after treatment, the therapeutic effect and the total incidence rate of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in visual acuity and diopter between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). The visual acuity and diopter of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The visual acuity and diopter of the observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the treatment in the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than that of the control group (86.67%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The application effect of Liangyan moxibustion in the prevention and treatment of myopia is significant, which can improve the visual acuity and the treatment effect, with less adverse reactions, which is worthy of promotion and application.
