Abstract:Objective To study the effect of Tianma Gouteng Decoction in the treatment of hypertension patients with the pattern of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity. Methods A total of 64 cases of hypertensive patients with the pattern of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity admitted to Wuhan General Hospital of WISCO from October 5, 2017 to June 21, 2018 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by dynamic random grouping method, with 32 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with conventional method, and patients in the observation group were treated with Tianma Gouteng Decoction. Blood pressure and biochemical indicators (aldosterone, angiotensin II, renin) before and after treatment and adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in blood pressure between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). The diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure after treatment of the observation group were (78.72±2.28) and (119.43±3.38) mmHg respectively, which were lower than those of the control group ([90.13±5.05], [135.37±2.26]) mmHg, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in biochemical indicators between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). The levels of aldosterone, angiotensin II and renin in the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of aldosterone, angiotensin II and renin after treatment in the observation group were (280.11±3.74) ng/L, (108.14±5.25) ng/L,and (1.58±0.39) ng/ml respectively, which were lower than those in the control group ([309.87±4.04] ng/L, [119.70±4.38] ng/L, [4.11±0.55] ng/ml), and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence rate of adverse reactions was 3.13% in the observation group, which was significantly lower than the 21.88% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of Tianma Gouteng Decoction is remarkable in the treatment of hypertension patients with the pattern of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity, which can effectively control the development of the disease.
