The applied value of transabdominal ultrasound combined with transperineal ultrasound in the diagnosis of placenta previa in the second trimester of pregnancy

Abstract：Objective To explore the applied value of transabdominal ultrasound combined with transperineal ultrasound in the diagnosis of placenta previa in the second trimester of pregnancy.Methods Fifty patients with placenta previa in the second trimester of pregnancy admitted to our hospital from January to December 2017 were selected as the study subjects，all patients underwent transabdominal ultrasonography，transperineal ultrasonography and combined transabdominal ultrasonography and perineal ultrasonography.The diagnostic accuracy，missed diagnosis，sensitivity and specificity of the three methods were compared.Results The diagnostic rate of transabdominal ultrasonography was significantly lower than that of transperineal ultrasonography and combined examination，the diagnostic rate of transperineal ultrasonography was significantly lower than that of combined examination，the differences were statistically significant（P＜0.05）.The rate of missed diagnosis of combined examination was significantly lower than that of transabdominal ultrasonography and perineal ultrasonography，and the rate of missed diagnosis of transperineal ultrasonography was significantly lower than that of transabdominal ultrasonography，the differences were statistically significant（P＜0.05）.The sensitivity of combined examination was higher than that of transabdominal ultrasonography and perineal ultrasonography，and the sensitivity of transperineal ultrasonography was higher than that of transabdominal ultrasonography，the differences were statistically significant（P＜0.05）.The specificity of combined examination was lower than that of transabdominal ultrasonography and perineal ultrasonography，the specificity of transperineal ultrasonography was lower than that of transabdominal ultrasonography，the differences were statistically significant（P＜0.05）.Conclusion The combined use of transabdominal ultrasound and perineal ultrasound in the diagnosis of placenta previa in the second trimester has high diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity，low missed diagnosis rate and specificity，which is worthy of clinical application.
