Abstract:[Abstract]Objective To investigate the influence of progesterone adjuvant therapy on maternal and infant outcomes in pregnancy with uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 48 pregnancy patients with uterine fibroids who were admitted to our hospital from September 2017 to September 2018 were selected as subjects, according to the random number table method, they were divided into the experimental group and the general group,24 cases in each group. The general group was used conventional treatment methods, and the experimental group was used progesterone-assisted treatment. The maternal and infant outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results At the time of cesarean section, the progesterone level of the experimental group was higher than that of the general group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the size of uterine fibroids between the two groups during early pregnancy and cesarean section (P>0.05).There was no significant difference in progesterone levels between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events, red degeneration rate of uterine fibroids and progesterone receptor(PR)expression(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in intraoperative blood loss, operation time, hospital stay, and neonatal Apgar scores(P>0.05).Conclusion Progesterone-assisted treatment of pregnancy with uterine fibroids has no adverse effects on maternal and infant outcomes, and can be applied as appropriate.
