Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of labor management according to the time limit of new labor process on maternal and infant outcomes under painless labor. Methods A total of 210 cases of single term pregnant women who gave birth painlessly in our hospital from July 2017 to July 2018 were selected as the research objects, and divided into study group (105 cases) and reference group (105 cases) according to the admission number of the pregnant women. The study group adopted the time limit management of the new stage of labor under painless labor, while the reference group adopted the standard management of the traditional stage of labor. The delivery mode, duration of each stage of labor, pregnancy complications, occurrence of maternal complications, neonatal outcomes and clinical medical intervention were compared between the two groups. Results The natural delivery rate of the study group was higher than that of the reference group, the first stage of labor and the total stage of labor were longer than those of the reference group, and the total clinical medical intervention rate was lower than that of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant difference between the two groups in the second stage of labor, the third stage of labor, the incidences of pregnancy complications, the incidences of maternal complications, neonatal outcomes (P>0.05).Conclusion The time limit management of the new stage of labor under painless delivery is implemented for single term pregnant women.Although the first stage of labor and the total stage of labor are slightly longer,it can improve the natural delivery rate, reduce medical intervention and ensure the life and health of mothers and infants. Therefore,it is recommended to apply and popularize it in clinical practice.
