Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of self-made shoulder-type ice pack after bromhidrosis surgery. Methods A total of 96 patients with bromhidrosis surgery in our hospital from January 2017 to May 2018 were selected as subjects. The patients were randomly divided into control group (n=48)and observation group (n=48)according to random number table method. The control group was given conventional ice packs, and the observation group was given self-made shoulder-type ice packs. The clinical efficacy and the satisfaction of the two types of ice pack at 2,12 and 24 h after care were compared. Results The satisfaction of the observation group at 2,12 and 24 h after cold compress was significantly higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.92%(47/48),which was significantly higher than that in the control group (75.00% [36/48]),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Shoulder-type ice packs can improve patients′outcomes and satisfaction.
