Abstract:Objective To investigate the healthy population prevalence of thyroid nodules. Methods 600 cases of healthy subjectswere randomly selected to enroll to the research in our hospital from June 2015 to May 2016.The prevalence of thyroid nodules in healthy population by color Doppler ultrasound was calculated, and the influence factors of the prevalence of thyroid noduleswas analyzed. Results 194 cases of patientswith positive thyroid noduleswere detected in 600 cases, the positive rate was 32.33%.The detection rate ofmale and female were 29.08%,36.50%;female healthy subjects in thyroid nodules positive ratewas significantly higher thanmale(P<0.05).Two age groups(40-49 and 50-59)positive thyroid nodules were the highest detection rate.Thyroid nodules were solid, bilateral sick, single oriented. The positive detection rate of thyroid nodules increased with the increase of BMI,blood glucose and blood pressure, abnormal level of BMIand blood glucose was independent risk factors affecting the positive rate of thyroid nodule detection. The highest proportion of positive patientswere university and college education of patients and medical staff sick. Conclusion The healthy population has a high prevalence of thyroid nodules and low awareness of thyroid nodular disease.Ultrasound and thyroid function do regular inspections, strengthen health education, early detection and diagnosis,follow-up and strengthen the health of patients is of great significance.
