Clinical application of B ultrasound-guided percutaneous puncture and thermal ablation in the treatment of thyroid nodules

Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of percutaneous puncture and thermal ablation guided by B ultrasound in the treatment of patients with thyroid nodules.Methods A total of 92 patients with thyroid nodules from June 2015 to June 2017 treated in our hospital were selected as the subjects,and evenly divided into control group and treatment group in random,46 cases in each group.In the control group,routine therapy was used,while in the treatment group B ultrasound-guided percutaneous puncture and thermal ablation was adopted.The time of the symptoms disappearing of thyroid disease,total therapeutic time,adverse reactions caused by the treatment,total clinical effectiveness rate of thyroid nodule disease,and the satisfaction on therapeutic regimen of thyroid disease and the achieved treatment effect were compared between the two groups.Results In the treatment group,the time of symptomatic disappearance and total therapeutic time of thyroid disease were shorter than those in the control group,with significant differences (P<0.05).The rate of adverse reactions caused by the treatment in the treatment group (4.3%) was lower than that in the control group (21.7%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total clinical effectiveness rate of patients in the treatment group (91.3%) was,higher than that that in the control group (71.7%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total satisfaction on the treatment plan and achieved effect of thyroid disease in the treatment group (93.5%) was higher than that in the control group (78.3%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with thyroid nodules,application of B ultrasound-guided percutaneous puncture and thermal ablation can quickly control the disease condition,greatly improve the thyroid function,reduce adverse reactions,and finally markedly enhance the therapeutic effect and patient′s satisfaction.
