Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Tiotropium Bromide combined with Budesonide on immune function and pulmonary ventilation function in patients with asthma-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease overlap syndrome (ACOS).Methods A total of 94 patients with ACOS admitted to Shangrao Municipal Hospital between January 2019 and January 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 47 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Budesonide Inhalation, and the observation group was treated with Tiotropium Bromide combined with Budesonide Inhalation. The clinical effect, pulmonary function, immune function indexes and total incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1), the ratio of forced expiratory volume in the first second to forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC), forced vital capacity (FVC) and inspiratory fraction (IC/TLC) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of helper T cell type 1 (Th1), helper T cell type 2 (Th2) and Th1/Th2 in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The combined application of Tiotropium Bromide and Budesonide in the treatment of patients with ACOS can effectively improve the pulmonary function and immune function, enhance the efficacy of clinical treatment and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.
