Objective To explore the application effect of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) nursing specialist clinics in pulmonary rehabilitation training for patients with COPD in stable period. Methods A total of 30 patients with COPD in stable period treated in Pingxiang People′s Hospital from June 2019 to October 2020 were selected and divided into the control group and the promotion group by random number table methods, with 30 cases in each group. The control group took routine outpatient nursing intervention, and the promotion group took the COPD nursing specialist outpatient nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. Both interventions were conducted for 12 weeks. The pulmonary function indexes, degree of disease condition and Beek depression inventory (BDI) scores were compared between the two groups before and 12 weeks after intervention. Results After 12 weeks of intervention, the ratio of forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), and forced expiratory volume in the first second to forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) in the promotion group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After 12 weeks of intervention, the COPD assessment test (CAT)score of the promotion group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After 12 weeks of intervention, the BDI score of the promotion group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion COPD nursing specialist clinic in pulmonary rehabilitation training for patients with COPD in stable period can effectively control the condition of patients′ disease, improve patients′ lung function and relieve depression.
