Abstract:Objective To explore the effect and value of Newman nursing care for patients with glomerulonephritis.Methods A total of 86 patients with glomerulonephritis who were admitted to Liaohe Oilfield Gem Flower Hospital from June 2017 to July 2019 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into control group (43 cases) and observation group (43 cases) according to the random number table method.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received routine nursing combined with Newman nursing.The mental status,disease control effect,nursing satisfaction and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the scores of Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of disease control and nursing satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).In the observation group,the scores of physical,psychological,social function and physical life status of the general assessment questionnaire of quality of life (GQOLI-74) after intervention were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion To strengthen Newman nursing intervention can improve the mental state of patients with Glomerulonephritis,improve the effect of disease control,and improve the quality of life.
