Abstract:Objective To investigate the design and clinical application of wall-mounted silicone mask drying frame in neonates.Methods A total of 178 face masks from operating room of Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital,Jiangxi Province from November 2019 to January 2020 were selected.They were divided into the experimental group and the control group by random digital table method, 89 in each group.After cleaning, the control group was placed directly on the cleaning table to dry.20 nursing staff and 178 newborns were selected, and the satisfaction of nursing staff before and after using the wall-mounted silicone mask before and after drying was obtained.The condition,the secondary infection of mask and the incidence of respiratory tract infection were observed.Results The drying time of the mask in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group, the secondary infection rate and the incidence of respiratory tract infection in newborns were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total satisfaction of nursing staff after using wall-mounted silicone mask was higher than that before, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The design and clinical application of wall-mounted silicone mask drying frame have good clinical effect, it can not only shorten the drying time of the mask,reduce the secondary infection rate of the mask and the incidence of respiratory tract infection in the newborn, at the same time, it can also improve the satisfaction of the nursing staff, and has high clinical value.
