Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application effect of five-point support postoperative rehabilitation exercise combined with percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)in osteoporotic compression fracture of spine. Methods A total of 80 cases with osteoporotic compression fracture of spine admitted to Department of Spinal Surgery in Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hunan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2017 to July 2019 were selected as the research object, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with PKP,the observation group was treated with five-point support postoperative rehabilitation exercise on the basis of the control group. After discharge, the patients were followed up for one month in outpatient department. The height of anterior and middle column of the injured vertebral bodies, pain and activity ability of the two groups were compared. The time of 10-meter walking and 5 times of sitting position of the two groups were analyzed, and the clinical treatment effect of the two groups was statistically analyzed. Results The height of the anterior and middle column of the injured vertebral bodies in the observation group at one month after discharge were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of lumbago and back pain in the observation group at one month after discharge was lower than that in the control group, and the score of activity ability in the observation group at one month after discharge was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of 10-meter walking and 5 times of sitting position in the observation group at one month after discharge were shorter than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.0%,which was higher than 75.00% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For elderly osteoporosis patients with compression fracture of spine after PKP,five-point support to strengthen lumbar and dorsal muscle function exercise can effectively improve the recovery of injured vertebral anatomical structure, relieve pain, improve life exercise ability, and thus improve clinical treatment effect.
