Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of hand holographic acupoint combined with auricular acupoint pressing on mechanical ventilation patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD).Methods Sixty patients with AECOPD and respiratory failure diagnosed in our hospital Department of critical care medicine from January 2016 to November 2017 were selected for mechanical ventilation. They were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group was the routine treatment nursing group (condition observation, medicine, artificial airway, balloon, sputum suction, ventilator pipeline, oral cavity,off-line,psychological care)etc. The observation group was based on routine treatment and nursing combined with hand holographic acupoints and auricular acupoint pressing, and the respiratory frequency, oxygen saturation recovery time of the two groups of patients were compared;the time of off-machine and off-bed activity of the ventilator;the incidence and survival rate of atelectasis, pulmonary dysfunction, circulatory failure,ventilator-associated pneumonia were observed in observation group. Results Respiratory frequency and oxygen saturation returned to normal in the observation group;the time of off-line and out-of-bed activities of the ventilator was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05);the proportion of atelectasis, decreased pulmonary function, circulatory failure and ventilater associated pneamonia in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the survival rate was significantly increased than that in the observation group (P<0.05).Conclusion Holographic hand acupoint pressing combined with ear acupoint pressing can promote the recovery of pulmonary function and improve the survival rate of AECOPD patients undergoing mechanical ventilation.
