This paper reports a male infertility patient with non-obstructive azoospermia and varicocele who underwent microsurgical varicocelectomy (preoperative monitoring and evaluation of the spermatic artery to protect the spermatic artery).During the operation,6 left pampiniform spermatic veins were ligated,3 pampiniform veins were ligated and the spermatic arteries were protected. After the surgery, the patient was treated with traditional Chinese and western medicine(Letrozole+Xianlu Oral Liquid),and enough ejaculated sperm was obtained,so that his spouse had a natural pregnancy and live birth of a female infant. This case shows that in addition to assisted reproductive technology, minimally invasive urological surgery combined with traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment is also an effective treatment strategy for such patients. This method can not only reduce the surgical trauma of the patient, but also reduce the economic cost and help to promote eugenics.
