Clinical effect of Isosorbide mononitrate in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with abnormal N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide

Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Isosorbide mononitrate in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)with abnormal N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide(BNP).Methods From July to December in 2018,60 patients with COPD with abnormal BNP treated in our department were selected as the subjects,and divided into control group(n=30)and observation group(n=30)by random number table method.The control group was treated with routine treatment such as anti-infection and phlegm resolving,and the observation group was treated with Isosorbide mononitrate on the basis of control group.The treatment effects were compared.Results After treatment,the level of BNP in the two groups was decreaced,and the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).The blood oxygen saturation and partial pressure of oxygen in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the partial pressure of blood carbon dioxide was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than that in the control group(73.33%)(P<0.05).The hospitalization time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the control group.The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6.67%,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Isosorbide mononitrate therapy for patients with COPD with abnormal BNP can significantly improve the therapeutic effect,decrease the level of BNP,improve the blood gas analysis index and shorten the course of disease.
