Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical Effect of edaravone combined with hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of ischemic stroke.Methods A total of 80 patients with ischemic stroke admitted to our hospital from April 2017 to November 2018 were selected as the subjects,and randomly divided into the study group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.The patients of the two groups were treated with routine therapy,while the control group was treated with Edaravone,the study group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks.The clinical effects of the two groups were observed.Results After treatment,the levels of serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9)in the two groups decreased,and the study group was lower than that in the control group,the levels of serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in the two group increased,and the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of national institutions of health stroke scale(NIHSS)in the two group decreased gradually from before treatment to 4 weeks after treatment,and the study group was lower than the control group at all time points after treatment,the differences wee statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than that in the control group (77.50%)(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Edaravone combined with hyperbaric oxygen can effectively reduce the levels of serum MMP-9,increase the levels of serum VEGF,and significantly reduce the degree of 1neurological deficit in patients with ischemic stroke,and the curative effect is significant.
