Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of focused ultrasound in the treatment of chronic cervicitis. Methods A total of 89 patients with chronic cervicitis admitted to department of gynecology of our hospital from January 2016 to June 2018 were selected as research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the observation group (45 cases)and the control group (44 cases). The patients in the observation group were treated with focused ultrasound and those in the control group were treated with microwave therapy. The operation time, blood loss, clinical treatment effect and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time of the observation group was (7.35±1.95)min,and the amount of bleeding was (6.92±3.28)ml,which were not statistically significantly different from those of the control group of(6.84±1.82)min and(6.38±2.34)ml respectively(P>0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment of the observation group was 97.78%,which was higher than that of the control group (84.09%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence rate of complications in the observation group was 13.33%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group (38.64%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Focused ultrasound has a significant effect in the treatment of patients with chronic cervicitis, with fewer complications, which is worthy of clinical investigation.
