Abstract：Objective To analyze the prognosis influence of prealbumin level in plasma on cerebral infarction in young adults.Methods From May 2011 to April 2015，120 young adult patients with cerebral infarction admitted into department of Neurology in Huizhou First People′s Hospital in Guangdong were selected as research objects（observation group）.The prealbumin levels during hospitalization and after treatment were tested by immunity transmission turbidity. The healthy people for physical examinations at the same time were selected as control group.The blood indexes in both groups were collected in order to compare the prealbumin level in cerebral infarction in young adults and healthy participants，and between good prognosis and poor prognosis and analyze the relationship between prealbumin level in plasma and patient′s prognosis.The prealbumin levels in plasma in the two groups were compared.The relationship between prealbumin level and cerebral infarction in young adults were analyzed.Results In the observation group，the prealbumin level from plasma was（243.5±23.6）mg/L，while in the control group，the value was（281.6±26.3）mg/L with a statistical difference （P＜0.05）.The number of cases in good prognosis and poor prognosis was 103 and 17 respectively.The prealbumin level in good prognosis was（263.9±25.5）mg/L，while in poor prognosis was （213.6±15.7）mg/L，which was displayed a statistical difference（P＜0.05）.The sensitivity and specificity of cerebral infarction in young adults through prealbumin prognosis was 85.83%and 76.00%in turn.Conclusion Increasing of prealbumin may become a protective factor on the onset of cerebral infarction in young adults.The prealbumin level in plasma can be considered as a predictive index on the prognosis quality of cerebral infarction in young adults.
