Abstract:Objective To explore the improvement effect of humanistic nursing on quality of life(QOL)and satisfaction in patients hospitalized in department of cardiovascular medicine.Methods From January 2015 to January 2016,144 inpatients hospitalized in our department were selected as research objects.By a random number table,they were evenly divided into observation group and control group.In the control group,conventional nursing was applied,while in the observation group,humanistic nursing was adopted.The QOL in the two groups was compared by GQOL-74,and nursing satisfaction was reflected by questionnaire survey after finishing the intervention.Results There was no difference in GQOL-74 score in the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention,there were statistical differences in cognitive function,mental function,physical performance,and social function with regard to GQOL-74 score,and differences in the observation group were superior to those in the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction in the observation group reached up to 98.61%,much higher than that of control group accounting for 88.89% with a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Humanistic nursing is more suitable for nursing demands in inpatients hospitalized in department of cardiovascular medicine,and comprehensively improves QOL in the aspects of environment,psychology,diet,and safety,as well as nursing satisfaction,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
