Application of comprehensive nursing model inelderly patients after intestinal obstruction operation

Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in elderly patients after intestinal obstruction.Methods 76 patients with intestinal obstruction treated in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2016 were selected and they were divided into the control group and the observation group,and each group contained 38 patients.Patients in the control group received the routine nursing,while patients in the observation group received the comprehensive nursing intervention.Incidence of postoperative complication and nursing satisfaction degreewere compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of postoperative complication in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction degree of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively reduce the postoperative complication after intestinal obstruction in elderly patients and optimize the nurse-patient relationship,which deserves the clinical expansion.
