Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of multidisciplinary cooperative nursing(MDT)mode in neurogenic rectal constipation after spinal cord injury. Methods A total of 60 patients with neurogenic rectum after spinal cord injury in Liuzhou People′s Hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group(30 cases)and the observation group(30 cases)according to random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given MDT mode on the basis of the control group. The intervention time was 4 weeks.Constipation assessment scale, constipation related quality of life score and self-efficacy were compared between the two groups after 4 weeks of nursing intervention. Results The constipation assessment scale score and constipation related quality of life score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the self-efficacy level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in constipation score, constipation related quality of life score and self-efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of MDT mode in patients with neurogenic rectal constipation after spinal cord injury can reduce the incidence of constipation, improve the self-efficacy and quality of life of patients.
