Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of the intervention mode under the guidance of multiple disciplinary team(MDT) mode applied to elderly diabetes mellitus patients with acute cholecystitis. Methods A total of 71 elderly diabetic patients with acute cholecystitis who were admitted to Nanping People′s Hospital in Fujian Province from May 2018 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects, divided into the control group (35 cases) and the observation group (36 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group adopted conventional intervention methods, and the observation group adopted the MDT model method, the psychological status, blood sugar level and complications of the two groups were compared. Results After the intervention, the self-rating depression scale (SDS)and the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group (5.56%) was lower than that in the control group(22.86%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The intervention mode under the guidance of MDT mode applied to the elderly with diabetes with acute cholecystitis can control blood sugar level, improve mental state, and reduce the probability of complications.
