Abstract:Objective To investigate the influence of real-time continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) on blood glucose intervention effect in patients with diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 240 patients with diabetes mellitus who were hospitalized in Weifang Endocrine and Metabolic Hospital from February 2018 to May 2020 were selected as study subjects, and they were divided into the control group(n=120)and the observation group(n=120)by random number table method.Patients in both groups were given routine treatment of diabetes, including diet and exercise guidance, insulin injection,HbA1c detection, and wearing CGM for 4 days. The control group was given routine intervention, and the observation group was given targeted intervention according to CGM results.HbA1c level was detected again and CGM was worn for 4 days after 12 weeks. The blood glucose standard deviation(SD),mean amplitude of glycemic excursions(MAGE),mean blood glucose level (MG),fasting blood glucose (FBG),2 h blood glucose after breakfast (2 h BG),time of hyperglycemia, time of blood glucose >3.9 mmol/L and <10.0 mmol/L (TIR),time of hypoglycemia and HbA1c level were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in SD,MAGE,MG,FBG,2 h BG after breakfast, time of hyperglycemia,TIR,time of hypoglycemia and HbA1c between the two groups before intervention (P >0.05).There were no significant differences in SD,MAGE,MG,FBG,2 h BG after breakfast, time of hyperglycemia,TIR,time of hypoglycemia and HbA1c of the control group between after intervention and before intervention (P>0.05).MAGE and 2 h BG after breakfast in the observation group after intervention were significantly lower than those in the control group, and TIR in the observation group after intervention was significantly longer than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of MG,FBG and HbA1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the time of hyperglycemia in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in SD and the time of hypoglycemia between the two groups (P>0.05).The levels of MAGE,2 h BG after breakfast in the observation group after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention, and TIR in the observation group after intervention was significantly longer than that before intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of MG,FBG and the time of hyperglycemia in the observation groups after intervention were shorter than those before intervention, and the level of HbA1c in the observation group after intervention was lower than that before intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant difference in SD and the time of hypoglycemia in the observation group after intervention and before intervention (P>0.05).Conclusion Real-time CGM can reflect the changes of blood glucose in the blood glucose monitoring of diabetic patients.Through targeted intervention, blood glucose can be significantly reduced, fluctuation of blood glucose can be reduced, which can provide basis for clinical treatment and care.
