Objective To explore the application of whole-course health education in the perioperative period of glaucoma patients complicated with uremia.Methods A total of 36 patients with glaucoma complicated with uremia admitted to North Guangdong People′s Hospital Affiliated to Shantou University from February 2017 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects.According to the order of admission time,the patients were randomly divided into the control group (18 cases) and the research group (18 cases).The control group adopted the conventional perioperative health education method,and the the research group adopted the overall health education method based on the conventional perioperative health education.The satisfaction,awareness of health knowledge and postoperative intraocular pressure level between the two groups were compared.Results The health knowledge awareness scores of the two groups of patients after the intervention were higher than those before the intervention,and the patients′ health knowledge and nursing satisfaction of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);The intraocular pressure (IOP) after the intervention was lower than before the intervention,and the IOP after the study group was lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive health education for patients with glaucoma complicated with uremia during perioperative period can improve patients′ health knowledge,nursing satisfaction and surgical treatment effect,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
