Abstract:Objective To explore the intervention effect of extended nursing on compliance behavior and life of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods A total of 79 cases of PCOS patients treated in Dalian Maternal and Child Health Hospital from July 2019 to July 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the study group(n=40)and the control group(n=39)by drawing of lots.Patients in the control group were given routine hospital care and discharge education.The study group was given extended nursing intervention on the basis of nursing intervention.The compliance behaviors,such as medication,regular work and rest,scientific diet and exercise were compared between the two groups before and half a year after discharge.The quality of life of the two groups before and after the intervention was compared,and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups was investigated and counted.Results Between the two groups,there were no significant difference in the scores of compliance behaviors on the compliance,regular rest,scientific diet and exercise before intervention(P>0.05).After 6 months of intervention,the scores of compliance behaviors on the compliance,regular rest,scientific diet and exercise in the control group were lower than those before discharge(P<0.05).There were no significant difference between the scores of compliance behaviors on the compliance,regular rest,scientific diet and exercise in the study group(P>0.05).After 6 months of intervention,the scores of compliance behaviors on the compliance,regular rest,scientific diet and exercise in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before discharge,there was no significant difference in the scores of quality of life between the two groups(P>0.05).Six months after discharge,the scores of quality of life in the two groups were higher than those before discharge,and the scores of quality of life in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing total satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of extended nursing can urge PCOS patients to maintain good compliance behavior,and has a positive role in improving their quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
