Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of preventive care in the operating room on postoperative wound infection in patients with open limb fractures.Methods Sixty patients with open limb fractures admitted to Fuzhou First People′s Hospital from May 2018 to October 2020 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into the control group(30 cases)and the observation group(30 cases)according to the random touch method .The control group received routine care,and the observation group used preventive care in the operating room.The two groups′ wound healing goodness,incidence of postoperative wound infection,nursing acceptance,self-care ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results Comparing the two groups,the goodness of wound healing in the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); the incidence of postoperative wound infection in the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing recognition of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); the self-care ability and quality of life of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the same group before and after treatment,the scores of self-care ability and quality of life of the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Providing preventive care in the operating room for patients with open limb fractures can effectively prevent postoperative wound infection,accelerate wound healing,improve the quality of life of patients,and gain high recognition from patients.
