Influence of empathy nursing combined with routine nursing on patients with endometrial cancer

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of empathy nursing combined with routine nursing on patients with endometrial cancer.Methods A total of 80 patients with endometrial cancer admitted to the General Hospital of Northern Theater Command from August 2019 to August 2020 were selected as research subjects.According to the random paper method, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, 40 cases in each group.The control group adopted routine nursing, while in the observation group, empathy nursing measure was adopted on the basis of the control group.The level of hope score, coping style score, quality of life score, pain score of the two groups before and after nursing were compared.The satisfaction and compliance of the two groups were also compared.Results The level of hope scores, coping style scores, quality of life scores, and pain scores between the two groups before nursing were not statistically significant (P>0.05).After nursing, the level of hope scores, coping style scores, and quality of life scores of the control group and observation group were higher than those of the same group before nursing, and the pain scores was lower than that of the same group before nursing;the patients′ level of hope score, coping style score, and quality of life score in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the pain score was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total satisfaction and compliance of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of empathy nursing combined with routine nursing in patients with endometrial cancer can improve level of hope, coping style ability and quality of life, reduce pain scores, and enhance satisfaction and compliance of patients.
