Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) in reducing uterine contraction pain by intramuscular injection of Oxytocin after cesarean section. Methods A total of 200 cases of intramuscular Oxytocin injection after cesarean section in Dalian Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from April to November 2019 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the intervention group according to random number method, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing care, while the intervention group received CBT on the basis of routine nursing care. The pain and comfort of the two groups were compared. Results The contractions pain (visual analogue scale [VAS]score) of the intervention group was lower than that of the control group, the comfort condition (general comfort questionnaire [GCQ]score) of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The pain of intramuscular injection of Oxytocin (faces pain scale revised [FPS-R]score) in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion CBT can reduce the severity of pain caused by intramuscular injection of Oxytocin after cesarean section, relieving uterine contraction pain, improving comfort.
