Abstract:Objective To investigate the influence of different carbon dioxide (CO2) pneumoperitoneum pressure on the incidence and degree of pain after laparoscopic appendectomy (LA).Methods A total of 90 patients with acute appendicitis who treated in Shangrao Hekang Hospital CO.,Ltd.from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into three groups according to random number table method,30 cases in each group. All three groups underwent same surgical procedure.group A maintained CO2 pneumoperitoneum pressure of 10 mmHg,group B maintained CO2 pneumoperitoneum pressure of 12 mmHg,and group C maintained CO2 pneumoperitoneum pressure of 15 mmHg.The operation time, postoperative pain and complications were compared among the three groups. Results There was no statistical difference in the operation time and the incidence of postoperative complications among the three groups (P>0.05).The incidence and degree of postoperative pain in group A were lower than those in group B and group C within 12 h after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The CO2 pneumoperitoneum pressure is correlated with the pain after LA.LA under low CO2 pneumoperitoneum pressure has no significant effect on surgical operation.Low CO2 pneumoperitoneum pressure can alleviate the pain after LA,which provides basis for choosing pneumoperitoneum pressure in clinical LA.
