Abstract:Objective To explore effect of cognitive behavior combined with Escitalopram Oxalate in the treatment of depression. Methods A total of 88 patients with depression admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to May 2019 were selected.Patients admitted from January to September 2018 were set as control group(n=44,treated with Escitalopram Oxalate),while patients admitted from October 2018 to May 2019 were set as combination group(n=44,treated with cognitive behavioral therapy combined with Escitalopram Oxalate),the clinical global impression-severity of illness(CGI-SI),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)scores of depression patients in two groups at different time points after treatmentwere observed. Results At 2,4 and 8 weeks treatment, the CGI-SI,HAMD and HAMA scores of patients in the combined group were lower than those in the control group;at 2,4 and 8 weeks treatment, the CGI-SI,HAMD and HAMA scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, the effective rate of the combination group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Cognitive behavior combined with Escitalopram Oxalate for patients with depression can effectively alleviate the severity of depression and improve depression and anxiety, which has guidance value in clinical treatmentof depression.
