Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of the combination of free drug delivery and medical education on the awareness of drug compliance and disease knowledge in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).Methods From January 2018 to November 2019, a total of 100 ADHD children (100 parents and 50 teachers) who were treated in our hospital were selected.They were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, 50 cases of children, 50 parents and 25 teachers in each group.The children in the control group were given outpatient routine treatment and free drug distribution (free for 2 months), and the children in the observation group were given medical and educational combination mode intervention on the basis of the children in the control group.The compliance of the medication of two groups of children, and before and after the intervention, the mastery of disease knowledge of two groups of children′s parents and teachers were compared.Results After 2 months of intervention, the scores of the knowledge of the incidence factors, the knowledge of treatment, and the knowledge of clinical symptoms of the two groups of parents and teachers were higher than those before the intervention, and those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention of free drug distribution combined with medical education in children with ADHD has significant effect, which can improve the compliance of children, improve disease knowledge awareness rate of their parents and teachers,and help to promote children′s physical recovery,which is worthy of clinical application.
