Effect of cognitive belief behavior oriented intervention model on medication compliance and self-management of patients with cerebral aneurysm after operation

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of cognitive belief behavior oriented intervention model on medication compliance and self-management of patients with cerebral aneurysm after operation. Methods A total of 30 patients with cerebral aneurysms treated in Shanghai Oriental Hospital from January to December 2018 were selected as the control group, and routine nursing was adopted. A total of 30 patients with cerebral aneurysms treated in Shanghai Oriental Hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the observation group. On the basis of routine nursing, the patients were given cognitive belief behavior oriented intervention mode. The intervention lasted for 3 months after discharge. The medication compliance and self-management level of the two groups were compared. Results The medication compliance of the observation group was better than that of the control group 3 months after discharge, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of self-management ability of the observation group were better than those of the control group 3 months after discharge, such as symptom management, emotion management and daily life management, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The cognitive belief behavior oriented intervention model can improve the medication compliance and self-management ability of patients with cerebral aneurysm after operation.
