Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of comfort nursing intervention on pain and prognosis of patients with thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures. Methods A total of 50 cases of patients with simple thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures treated in our hospital from June 2017 to June 2018 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 25 cases in each group. The control group was received routine operation nursing of lumbar vertebra fracture, and the observation group was received comfortable nursing intervention. The indexes of psychological state, pain degree and the recovery of lumbar vertebra function were compared before and after nursing. Results There was no difference in the scores of self-depression scale (SDS), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS)and visual analogue scale (VAS) between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of SDS, SAS and VAS of the two groups were lower than those before intervention (P<0.05), and the indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).The recovery rate of the back muscles function in the observation group was 96.0%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (76.0%), with statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Comfort nursing can effectively alleviate the bad mood and pain of thoracolumbar fracture patients, improve the recovery of lumbar muscle function, and promote the prognosis and quality of patients.
