Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of pain sensitivity on postoperative efficacy in patients undergoing lumbar spondylolisthesis.Methods From July 2014 to December 2015,68 patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis treated in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.They were provided with posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF).According to the preoperative personal strain questionnaire(PSQ)score,they were divided into low PSQ(PSQ＜6.5)and high PSQ group (PSQ≥6.5),34 cases in each group.The surgical effects were followed up.Results The scores of visual analogue scale (VAS)and ODI before surgery and last follow-up visit after surgery in the high PSQ group were all higher than those in the low PSQ group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The improvement scores of postoperative VAS and ODI at the last follow-up visit after surgery in the high PSQ group were lower than those in the low PSQ group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with patients with low pain sensitivity,improvement of pain and disability in high pain sensitivity patients after lumbar spondylolisthesis is not remarkable.PSQ can be used to evaluate the efficacy of lumbar spondylolisthesis surgery.
