Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic effects of combination therapy on elderly patients with hypertension and coronary heart disease.MethodsTotally 76 elderly patients with hypertension and coronary heart disease who were treated in our hospital from July 2015 to May 2017 were selected as subjects of this study. The selected patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table method,38 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with Nifedipine Sustained Release Tablets only.Nifedipine Sustained Release Tablets combined with Enalapril Tablets were used in the experimental group. The total effective rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe total effective rate in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the systolic and diastolic blood pressure were significantly lower than before treatment, and the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of patients in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionThe combined treatment of hypertension and coronary heart disease in elderly patients with significant effect, which can quickly stabilize patients with systolic and diastolic blood pressure, improve clinical symptoms, fewer adverse drug reactions, with the promotion of value.
