Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the application of health education path intervention on the continuing nursing care in patients with PICC.Methods200 patients with PICC in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were selected as the research objects and divided into two group according to the random number table,with 100 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given conventional nursing,while patients in the observation group were given health education path intervention.The self-nursing ability,health behavior,nursing satisfaction and the incidence of adverse reaction were compared between two groups.ResultsBefore intervention,there were no significantly different among the scores of self-nursing ability and health behavior in two groups(P>0.05);after intervention,the scores of two indexes in two groups were all increased,and compared with those before nursing,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). And those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction in the observation was higher than that in the control group,the incidence of adverse reaction was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionUsing health education path intervention in patients with PICC can improve self-nursing ability,health behavior and nursing satisfaction and can reduce the incidence of adverse reaction.It is worthy of clinical application.
