Abstract：Objective To investigate the influences of 5 S method on the quality in the emergency cares. Methods 130 patients who were referred to the department of emergency in our hospital from March 2013 to October 2015 were selected as the subjects and 65 cases were assigned as the control group with routine care and other 65 cases were assigned as the study group with care of 5 S method. The patients′satisfaction and incidence of emergency adverse events of the patients from the two groups were recorded. Results Patients from study group had significantly higher satisfaction of 98.46%than the control group of 70.77%. The incidence of emergency adverse events of study group was 7.69%，significantly lower than that of control group of 24.62%and the two sets of data had significant statistical differences（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Manage the emergency cares with 5S method can effectively increase the patients′satisfaction and decrease the incidence of emergency adverse events so as to guarantee the health of the patients.
