Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of targeted nursing intervention in mydriasis before cataract surgery. Methods The clinical data of 200 cases of cataract patients treated by phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation in our hospital from November 2018 to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group (n=100) and experimental group (n=100).The control group used routine nursing method, the experimental group used the targeted nursing method based on routine nursing. The effect of mydriasis, levels of intraoperative pupil diameter, nursing satisfaction and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in pupil diameter before mydriasis between the two groups (P>0.05).The pupil diameter (after 30 minutes of mydriasis and before implantation),nursing total satisfaction of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, the levels of intraoperative pupil diameter was better than that of the control group, the total incidence of adverse reactions of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted nursing intervention for patients who need cataract surgery can improve the effect of mydriasis, improve the nursing satisfaction of patients and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
